The President of the Economic, Social and Cultural Council (CESOC), Mairou Malam Ligari met the Director General of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) of UEMOA, EDOH Kossi Amenounvé. “We spoke in particular about the latest issue of the State of Niger which made it possible to raise 165 billion FCFA for the financing of development projects in Niger”, confided the director general of the BRVM, EDOH Kossi Amenounvé. “The hearing was also an opportunity for us to have a convergence of views on subjects of common interest which concern both the CESOC and the BRVM. This is particularly the issue of popular ownership in Niger and the distribution of wealth in Nigerien municipalities. We thought that we could unite our efforts to work on this theme to allow and promote the development of popular shareholding in Niger but also the opening of the capital of private sector companies through the Stock Exchange," said EDOH Kossi Amenounvé. . Another point discussed during these exchanges is that of the financing of the cultural industry. It is a question of working so that the culture of Niger is not only visible but also that it participates in social and economic development.
