The parapublic bank led by Nicolas Dufourcq is working to expand its networks, particularly in East Africa. In less than ten years of existence, Bpifrance has integrated into the French diplomatic system in West Africa and Morocco.

The parapublic bank Bpifrance is preparing its annual Forum Bpifrance Inno Generation (BIG) which will take place on October 7 at the Accor Arena in Paris, the same week as the Africa-France Summit set up by President Emmanuel Macron in Montpellier and the Ambition Africa Summit (October 5 to 6), prepared by the other relay of French economic diplomacy, Business France, at the Ministry of the Economy. And Bpifrance will be present at all three events at the same time. Indeed, the bank's role is to finance French companies in France and abroad through loans, guarantees and insurance. It also carries out investment and advisory activities. Having made Africa his priority axis outside France, bpifrance CEO Nicolas Dufourcq claims to have guaranteed 2.5 billion euros in commercial contracts. Bpifrance intends to provide advice to various governments to develop its model. It is also targeting Senegal, where it is in the process of setting up an office, located in Dakar.
