The Minister of State Control in charge of the Quality of Public Service and the Fight against Antivalues, Jean Rosaire Ibara, and the President of the National Assembly, Isidore Mvouba, decided to create a framework for exchanges and consultation between the Ministry of State Control and the lower house of Parliament. The announcement was made on 12 August, during an interview.

The executive and parliament give themselves the opportunity to take coordinated action to fight fraud and corruption within the public administration. The platform will allow them to build more effective and efficient law enforcement strategies that are capable of containing or curbing this phenomenon. “We came to meet the national representatives with the objective of establishing bridges, in order to harmonize these control bodies, to inquire about the problems raised with a view to translating into reality the main guidelines given by the Head of State concerning corruption. We need to establish frank collaboration so that these major control bodies act in a coordinated manner for effective control,” said Jean Rosaire Ibara. The Ministry of State Control has been in contact with the Court of Audit and Budgetary Discipline, another judicial body established for the same cause.
