The second tranche of the bond issue of the State of Côte d'Ivoire, called "TPCI 5.80% 2021-2028", on the regional financial market of the West African Monetary Union was launched on July 30, 2021 It was with the participation of Atlantique Finance, a subsidiary of the BCP group, leader of the placement syndicate.

Worth 50 billion FCFA, this operation, consisting of 5,000,000 securities with a nominal value of 10,000 FCFA, aims to partially finance the design and rehabilitation project of the Akouédo landfill in Abidjan. This green project focuses in particular on the treatment of waste, the production of renewable energies and the preservation of biodiversity. Repayment of the loan will be by constant amortization at an annual interest rate of 5.80%, over a period of 7 years, including two years deferred. Subscriptions will take place from July 30 to August 12, 2021. The amount of this operation (50 billion FCFA) constitutes the second tranche of a bond issuance program which includes three, the first of which (33.5 billion FCFA ) was mobilized in 2020 and the third (37.993 billion FCFA) will be in 2022, for a total of more than 121 billion FCFA.

This structuring project should in particular allow, in the long term, the creation of an urban park of more than 100 hectares as well as a platform for the treatment and recovery of biogas by cogeneration, whose electricity production should reach a power of approximately 2 megawatts. The transaction was registered on July 28, 2021 by the Regional Council for Public Savings and Financial Markets (CREPMF) of WAMU, under No. EE/21-10.
