On the sidelines of the work of the round table on “the effectiveness of public policy in the light of programme budget reform and the COVID-19 pandemic”, the African Center for Higher Management Studies (CESAG) and Togo Center for Analysis and Capacity Building (CADERDT) have concluded a strategic partnership. The objective is to develop and execute training and capacity building actions for the benefit of development actors but also to support the reform of the programme budget in the subregion

Identifying the levers available to state public administrations to consolidate the reform of the programme budget in the UEMOA region, with a view to improving the effectiveness of public policies for post-Covid-19 economic recovery, this was the main objective that brought together, for three days, in Lomé, budget researchers and professionals, as well as the members of the financial committees of the community space. On the sidelines of the work, the Director General of the African Center for Higher Studies in Management (CESAG), Balibié Serge Auguste Bayala, and the Executive Director of the Togo Center for Analysis and Capacity Building (CADERDT), Odilia Gnassingbé, signed a framework collaboration agreement, in order to respond, effectively and efficiently, to the capacity building needs of development actors through training and research, the setting in & oelig; works, evaluates and formulates public policies, but also through the advice that their institutions can give in government decision-making
