The Weekly Review of the Markets published by the Management and Intermediation Company (SGI) Impaxis Securities indicates that the stock market of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) continues its unperturbed progression. It aligns four consecutive upward sessions during the week of July 19 to 23, 2021.

The BRVM Composite index recorded a positive performance of 3.54% on a weekly basis and the BRVM 10 index of 4.59%. "The BRVM C is trading at its highest levels since the beginning of the year and continues to benefit from the conciliatory attitude of investors", analyzes Impaxis Securities. Still according to this structure, despite the small bearish alert last week, the main indices remain very well oriented. "There are indeed small losses here and there on certain stocks such as SICOR Côte d'Ivoire, NESTLE Côte d'Ivoire, SITAB Côte d'Ivoire, but they remain particularly timid in their magnitude given their size", emphasizes the SGI. She adds that these values represent respectively only 0.02%, 1.65% and 1.30% of the market capitalization of the equity market. Of the 46 stocks traded, 11 ended the week down and 28 up. The activity indicators show a volume of 753,449 securities traded for a total value of 1,971,859,292 FCFA.

Apart from the BRVM-Agriculture which recorded a poor performance with a variation of -0.09%, all the other indices ended the week under review on the rise. In the lead, there is the BRVM-Services Publics carried mainly by the Sonatel share which, alone, represents nearly a third (28.03%) of the market capitalization and which has regained the interest of investors since the publication of its financial results for the first half of 2021 showing strong performance with net income up 32.2%. The bond compartment ends the week of July 19 to 23 with an overall transaction value of 15.460 million FCFA for a volume of 1,594 traded securities. At this level, Impaxis Securities reports that the title "SONATEL 6.50% 2020-2027" was the most traded security of the week and concentrated 32.34% of the value of transactions. At the end of the week under review, market capitalization stood at 6,820.10 billion FCFA against 6,775.19 billion FCFA on Friday, July 16.
