As part of the vast clean hands operation launched by President Ouattara, the DG of the Office Nationale de l'Assainissement et du Drainage (ONAD) has found himself in trouble for corruption. The management of the director of ONAD has undergone extensive audits which have revealed "serious suspicions of misappropriation of public funds". As the economic and financial division of the special prosecutor's office tightened its grip on him, the director of NADO began a discreet but extensive lobbying campaign. It appears that the director of ONAD has proven affinities with Minister Moussa Sanogo, which has enabled him to manage some dubious affairs. The prosecutor of the Economic and Financial Pole is threatening him with an indictment for misappropriation of public funds.
