The Régionale d'Épargne et de Crédit SA has just entered the Central African Stock Exchange (BVMAC) in the equity compartment under the name “ACTION REGIONALE”. Since the merger of the Central African financial market, ''La Régionale SA'' is the first savings and credit institution listed on the BVMAC.

The Central African Stock Exchange (BVMAC) has recorded the first listing of La Régionale d'Epargne et de Crédit SA. All of the securities issued on July 16, 2021 by "LA REGIONALE" on the primary market, i.e. sixty-one thousand six hundred and thirty (61,630) shares, were admitted to "compartment A" of the BVMAC permanent listing. . This introduction brings to five the number of companies constituting the equity market, in this case, SEMC, SAFACAM, SOCAPALM and SIAT Gabon. “The advantages for an IPO are multiple. For the company, it is first of all the diversification of its sources of financing, the obtaining of a leadership in its sector of activity, and the enhancement of its notoriety, its credibility with all its interlocutors. It is also the reinforcement of the visibility of the company locally and internationally, the recruitment of personnel”, declared the general manager of the BVMAC, Jean Claude Ngbwa. This IPO takes place in a specific context marked by the ongoing structural change in the status of this company, which should change from a microfinance institution (EMF) to a universal bank with a minimum capital of 10 billion FCFA, in accordance the provisions of the Central African Banking Commission (COBAC) in force.
