The Technical Committee for monitoring the mobilization of resources and the implementation of CEMAC's priority integrating projects met in Douala; in Cameroon, under the chairmanship of Pr Michel-Cyr Djiena Wembou, permanent secretary of the Economic and Financial Reform Program of Cémac. On the occasion, the experts noted remarkable progress in the integrative projects of the sub-region.

Out of twelve priority projects presented at the Paris round table, two are already in the start-up phase, ie less than a year after the round table was held. These are the Cameroon-Chad electricity network interconnection project, the financing of which was completed at the opening of the round table by the AfDB, the World Bank and Cameroon, and the construction project of the Inter -Congo-Cameroon States. The appraisal of two other projects will be completed in December 2021 and after the adoption of the final evaluation report by the respective Boards of Directors of the AfDB, BDEAC and Afreximbank, the disbursement process will be initiated and these two projects could start in the first half of 2022. This is the project to build a bridge over the Ntem River, and the project to build the expressway between Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea. It is also a question of the Chollet hydroelectric development project and the associated power lines (Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, CAR), for which the winning company has just been selected by the highest authorities of Congo and Cameroon on April 12, 2021. Then the Béloko dry port construction project, on the Douala-Bangui corridor, and finally the Dolisie dry port construction project in Congo on the other Gabon-Congo corridor.
