The delegation made up of the president of the CCI Benin, Arnauld Akakpo and his elected consular colleagues, members of the office had the mission to exchange with these economic operators in order to disentangle, among other things, the bottlenecks of the sectors of industry, commerce and services.
For 48 hours, the president of the Benin CCI, Arnauld Akakpo and his colleagues continue the traveling meetings with business leaders. On the occasion, several topics were raised by economic operators, with the main motivation being to participate qualitatively in the construction of a strong and resilient economy. According to business leaders, it is very important for the CCI Benin to support agricultural producers for production in all seasons and the flow of crops, to defend with the executive all the tax facilities including benefit the providers of the national economy, to solve the difficulties of the hotel and tourism sectors, to win the bet of safeguarding the real estate heritage of the CCI Benin, to name a few.
The vocation of the umbrella institution being to support companies for a better business environment, the consular office has taken good note of the challenges mentioned by the participants. They recalled the main points contained in the 2021-2025 strategic plan of the CCI Benin and which will make it possible to untangle the bottlenecks of the sectors of industry, commerce and services. Particular emphasis was placed on the need to support the government in its program to industrialize the national economy. A promise in which the CCI-Benin will take part with the creation of several industries corresponding to the investment needs of the economic regions. The other highlight of the meeting was the training for economic operators. To this end, the trainer, Cédric Koudandé, Director of CEBA, the first Approved Management Center (CGA) in Benin, insisted on the rigorous keeping of accounts.
