After cheating more than 20 million FCFA, a cyber crook was arrested by the Central Brigade for the Fight Against Cybercrime (BCLCC). This individual is specialized in fraud through the means of electronic communications.

It all started with the complaints of several money transfer or mobile money shop managers, filed with the BCLCC for the aforementioned offence. At the end of the investigations and thanks to the collaboration of the other judicial police services and the victims, an individual was arrested by the Investigations Division of the BCLCC. The financial damage caused by the activity of this cyber crook amounts to more than 20 million CFA francs. At the end of the hearings, the alleged cyber-crook was taken to the prosecutor's office near the High Court of Ouaga.
