Cheikh Ahmet Tidiane Ba, Managing Director of the Caisse des Depots et de Consignations (Cdc) announced Tuesday, June 29 during the site visit of the President of the West African Development Bank (Boad) that the udder tower will be delivered in a year.

The 17-storey multifunctional building will be delivered within a year. “We were impacted by the Covid-19 which delayed the progress of the work a little. With the tenacity that I see with the company that is building the building, we are convinced that within 12 months, we can expect to receive this project. 8 of the 17 floors have already been completed. But, we are revising our plans since appetite comes with eating. We have received many requests for this building. We are thinking of remodeling a bit and putting in apartments,” said Cheikh Ahmet Tidiane Ba.

After having toured the building with his collaborators, the president of Boad, Serge Ekue said he was "satisfied" with the progress of the work. “I find that this building is well executed in a sector which is one of the essential sectors of Boad. I remind you that in axis 4 of the strategic plan of Boad, we are interested in the subject of real estate and tourism. I am happy to see that the execution is done in excellent conditions and its quality is in line with the idea we had. I am happy to see that Boad supports this type of project, not only do we participate in the financing of this project but also we provide our support”, he rejoices.
