The UEMOA Commission through the General Delegation for Peace and Security is holding a meeting on the implementation of the Framework Agreement for Security and Intelligence Cooperation between UEMOA Member States. The mission of the experts taking part in this meeting is to examine the new roadmap of the Framework Agreement for Security and Intelligence Cooperation between UEMOA States. In this context, a Framework Agreement for Security and Intelligence Cooperation between UEMOA Member States was signed on 26 April 2018. A roadmap for its implementation was adopted in Niamey on 31 October 2018 by the ministerial meeting on security in the UEMOA region. The participants will also examine and validate the draft “Report on peace and security in the UEMOA region for the second half of 2020". The road map and report will be submitted to the next ministerial meeting on security.
