An information seminar brought together members at various levels of the Regional Consular Chamber of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (CCR-UEMOA) this Wednesday, June 23, 2021. The virtual meeting aimed to raise awareness and equip d benefit the members of the CCR-UEMOA to enable them to contribute effectively to the achievement of the Institution's missions.

Organized by the CCR-UEMOA, this information seminar focuses on the missions and functioning of the Institution. The work of the meeting was led by Mr. Louis Speet AMEDE, Member of the CCR for Côte d'Ivoire and Mrs. Mariétou COULIBALY, Director General of the Institution. The communications focused on two strategic themes. The first entitled '' UEMOA Regional Consular Chamber: History, Role, Missions and Organization in the economic landscape of the UEMOA space '' and the second entitled '' Role and missions of Consular elected officials and member organizations of the CCR -UEMOA''. During the opening ceremony, the President of CCR-UEMOA, Daouda COULIBALY, took the opportunity to reiterate his thanks to the UEMOA Commission, to the Presidents of the various Chambers of Commerce and Industry as well as to all his peers, members of the CCR-UEMOA for their confidence and support during the Elective General Assembly of May 31. The seminar also made it possible to collect the opinions and suggestions of CCR-UEMOA elected officials for the purposes of greater operational efficiency of the Institution for the 2021-2024 term.
