The Cameroonian billionaire controls 10% of BNIG's assets through Afriland First Bank Guinea Conakry, headed by Cameroonian Guy Florent Fondjo, who is also economic adviser to President Alpha Condé. The BNIG was set up thanks to the technical support of Afriland First Group. In concrete terms, the holding company governed by Swiss law notably managed all the operations of design, study, assembly, approval, recruitment, training, start-up and operationalization of the BNIG.
