The Central African Securities Exchange (Bvmac) has just received one million dollars from the African Development Bank (BAD). The general meeting of Bvmac shareholders, scheduled for this week, will focus on the support of the ADB and the mandate of the managing director. On 28 May in Abidjan, the Bank of Central African States (BEAC) and the ADB signed an agreement to finance the unified financial market. The financial support of one million dollars, or more than 538 million FCFA, is intended to boost the public securities market, support the community stock market and project management
The general meeting of Bvmac shareholders will also decide on the decisions taken by the Board of Directors, which met on June 1, in Douala (Cameroon). Indeed, in a press release, its president Henri Claude Oyima hinted that the directors decided to extend the mandate of the CEO until December 31, 2021. “This is with a view to the completion of the ongoing process of recruiting the new Director General,” added Henri Claude Oyima
