During an exchange meeting between the Secretary General of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), Wamkele Mene and the President of Faso, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, it emerged that the experts were thinking about setting up a compensation fund to support trade. The exchanges between Wamkele Mene and President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré focused on various topics such as industrialization in Africa and particularly in Burkina Faso. Kosyam's host also spoke about the compensation fund that is being set up, including cases of lost revenue that could occur as a result of ZLCaF agreements

“We also discussed the participation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the African Continental Free Trade Area agreement and the benefits they could derive from it,” Wamkele Mene said. The Secretary General said that this agreement should take into account all companies and not only large companies. At the end of their meeting, President Kaboré gave guidelines and also made observations in order to allow adjustments in the process of installing the structure's secretariat
