Meeting in London on Saturday, the G7 finance ministers (United Kingdom, France, Italy, Canada, Japan, Germany, the United States) committed to the objective of a global minimum corporate tax rate of at least 15%

“I welcome the historic decision of the G7 to set a minimum tax of 15% for multinationals. It is a gesture of equity and global solidarity. Well done,” Macky Sall wrote. In particular, the members of the G7 agreed on the principle of a “global minimum corporate tax” for large companies, at a rate set at “at least 15%”. Discussions on this minimum tax will continue at the meeting of G20 finance ministers scheduled for July in Venice (Italy)
