Irregular fundraising from the public and fraudulent transactions are on the rise in the CEMAC financial market. The Central African Financial Market Surveillance Commission (COSUMAF) warns the public against this recurrence. Several players offer to invest and place funds against promises of high returns, without having the necessary approvals or offer options trading without authorization. These include Global Investment Trading (LIYEPLIMAL), HIGHLIFE INTERNATIONAL CAMEROON, CAMEROON INVEST, TIMEX TRADING CAMEROON, TJTM CAMEROUN and TAGUS INVESTMENT. These structures carry out the irregular collection of funds from the public, against equity securities, financial investments, and in various assets (real estate, vehicle) with promises of returns ranging from 100% to 500% of the initial stake and within reasonable time.

COSUMAF informs public opinion that these are fraudulent public fundraising campaigns and investments in violation of the legislation in force. As a reminder, the exercise of any activity related to the public offering and financial instruments is subject to the prior approval of COSUMAF.
