The new President of CCR-UEMOA was elected during the 21st session of the Joint General Assembly (end of term and elective) of CCR-UEMOA, which was held on Monday, May 31, 2021 in Abidjan.Daouda COULIBALY , Managing Director of Société Ivoirienne des Banques (SIB), President of the Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions of Côte d'Ivoire (APEBI-CI) was elected President of CCR-UEMOA for a three-year term. He succeeds the Burkinabé, Abdoulaye SORY.

Following the election of the President, the fifty-six consular members renewed the Bureau and the three Technical Commissions. Furthermore, on the proposal of the President-elect, three new ad hoc Commissions have been created, namely, the Ad Hoc Commissions “Real Estate”, “Lobbying and Partnership” and “Industrialisation”.
