After less than 653 million FCFA registered on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, the total value of transactions thus stood at 2.635 billion FCFA compared to 652.598 million FCFA the day before. The traded value of the bond market was 1.721 billion FCFA compared to 913.389 million FCFA
for the equity market.The stock market capitalization of the equity market, which has continued to rise since May 20, 2021, thus recorded an increase of 57.508 billion FCFA to 4714.173 billion FCFA compared to 4656.665 billion FCFA the day before. For its part, the bond market fell by 6547.750 billion FCFA on Tuesday to 6541.415 billion FCFA on Wednesday, a decrease of 6.335 billion FCFA.
The BRVM 10 index (the index of the 10 leading stocks of the Stock Exchange) thus gained 1.23% to 133.66 points compared to 132.04 points the day before. The BRVM Composite Index (the general stock market index), for its part, gained 1.24% to 156.65 points compared to 154.73 points previously
