The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) and the Central Depository since December 2018, Dr Parfait Kouadio Kouassi is maneuvering to keep his chair.

The mandate of Dr Parfait Kouadio Kouassi comes to an end next June. While Pierre Goudiaby had notified him that he was not renewing his seat as administrator at the end of his term, the current PCA would like to return to the post.

Indeed, Pierre Goudiaby had temporarily renounced his post as administrator to run for the Senegalese presidential elections of 2019. In a document dating from 2018, the Senegalese architect asked Parfait Kouassi to represent him and complete his mandate, which ran until June 2021. In response to Goudiaby, the current PCA had produced a letter of acceptance to lead the mandate to term. Last March, Pierre Goudiaby announced that he wanted to resume his post as administrator.
