Changes have been made to the International Bank for Mali (BIM), a subsidiary of the Attijariwafa bank group. Following the departure of Mohamed El Ghazi, appointed CEO of SIB Attijariwafa bank, the Malian subsidiary of the Moroccan banking group has a new managing director in the person of Brahim Ahabbane, an in-house executive.

After having accumulated 27 years of experience within the sinusoidal brand, Brahim Ahabbane is at the head of the management team. Until then Managing Director of Credit du Congo, the winner of the ISCAE, former Deputy CEO of Attijari Tunisia, will have to do in a complex Malian environment where economic activity is slowed down by a heavy political agenda. With 73 branches, the International Bank for Mali represents the leading banking network in Mali. BIM is the leading bank for Malians residing abroad. The Attijariwafa Bank Group has been the reference shareholder since 2008.
