Merchants in Côte d'Ivoire will now be able to process mobile money and bank card payments from the same device without any additional technical fees. This initiative initially concerns Côte d'Ivoire, which alone has 38% of electronic payment terminals (EPTs) in the UEMOA region, mostly manufactured by the Ingenico group

The number of credit card reader terminals and the volume of transactions in the UEMOA region increased by nearly 20%. Today, nearly 10% of transactions carried out with a bank card are carried out on a TPE and the average of transactions is around 107,000 FCFA
