In order to participate in the promotion of quality care in Senegal, the Sonatel Foundation has granted 20 scholarships in specialization to doctors. The total value of these grants is CFAF 280 million.

The partnership signing ceremony between Sonatel and the Ministry of Health and Social Action took place this Friday, April 23. Through this initiative, several branches of medicine will be strengthened in the profile of the populations, especially those in the peripheral areas of Senegal. The third support program for the specialization of doctors of the Sonatel Foundation has enrolled 20 practitioners in several fields of medicine.

For Sékou Dramé of the Sonatel Foundation: “We want to sustain this activity. Today, we are on our third outing and this testifies to this desire to support the training of doctors”. The beneficiaries will receive an allowance of 250 thousand CFA francs from the foundation throughout the course of their specialization for a period of four years.
