The Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM), is organizing the celebration of excellence on the UEMOA Regional Financial Market (MFR). The BRVM Awards, which will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 in Abidjan.

Placed under the banner of sustainable finance, the BRVM Awards aim to unite all players in the regional market, to highlight the dynamism of the sub-region's stock market, to increase the visibility of the MFR, and to promote excellence and best practices. This new pan-African economic indicator, established in 2020, is a ceremony of distinction aimed at recognizing the most dynamic companies in the sub-region. In 2020, 7 companies were awarded this award of excellence. This year, 8 categories were selected to distinguish MFR actors according to quantitative and qualitative selection criteria. These are the award for the Best Listed Company, the award for the Best Management and Intermediation Company, the award for the Best UCITS Management Company, the award for the Best BTCC, the award for the Best Institutional Investor, the award for the Best SME in the ELITE Program, the award for the Best Bond Issuer and the award for the Best

The nominated entities will be selected by a renowned jury composed of: Mr Charles KIE, president of the Jury, Ms. Viviane BAKAYOKO, Mr. Didier ACOUETEY, Ms. Nabou FALL and Ms. Khady CISS. In addition, this year, two special prizes and one honorary prize will be awarded. The BRVM Awards will be held in the form of a mix of face-to-face and virtual. Led by Dr. Edoh Kossi Amenounvé, the BRVM recorded 246 billion FCFA in transaction value in 2020 compared to 136 billion FCFA in 2019, an increase of 80%. In total, 46 listed companies, for a market capitalization of 4,367 billion FCFA.
