The Senegalese Minister of Trade and Small and Medium Enterprises, Aminata Assome Diatta announced on Saturday in Dakar that an important program will soon be launched to upgrade the country's businesses within the framework of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFLECA).

The Senegalese government is preparing to take better advantage of the ZLECA. “My department intends to conduct a major program to upgrade businesses. This program will require several skills and a lot of investments in terms of support infrastructure and equipment,” said Aminata Assome

The minister made the announcement while chairing the opening of the 21st Session of the General Assembly of the Senegal Business Movement (MDES). According to her, private investment is at the heart of economic growth and job creation.
