BOAD: More than 81 billion FCFA to support Senegal, Mali and Côte d'Ivoire

Senegal, Mali and Côte d'Ivoire have received a total of 81.106 billion CFA francs from the West African Development Bank (BOAD). This loan was approved by the Board of Directors of BOAD at its regular session on 17 March last

81.106 billion CFA francs to the economies of three BOAD member countries, including 21.106 billion CFA francs will go to Senegal, 40 billion CFA francs to Mali and 20 billion CFA francs to Côte d'Ivoire.
In a press release, the financial institution of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA), headquartered in Lomé, indicates that six loan proposals have been approved for these three countries

Senegal's share will improve the quality and equity in education with the construction of 1,528 classrooms.

For Mali, three loans have been approved for a total amount of 40 billion CFA francs, of which 15 billion are intended to finance a road project in the city of Sévaré. Fifteen billion francs will be used to finance an urban section in Bamako and a refinancing line of 10 billion CFA francs has been approved in favor of Coris

Bank International Mali.

Côte d'Ivoire received two refinancing lines for a total of 20 billion CFA francs, in favor of Bridge Bank Group Côte d'Ivoire and BGFIBank Côte d'Ivoire respectively. The new approvals bring the total to 6,335.168

billion CFA francs.
