The Dollar recovered just the 0.15% lost the day before, i.e. complete stagnation since Friday, around 1.210%. This is despite the tension in US long-term rates (increase in $ earnings from +9Pts to 1.288%) that is much higher than that observed on the Bunds (+4Pts) or OATs (+5Pts to 0.11%)

Despite the return of American traders after 3 days off, FOREX was very calm. If the Dollar seems to be gaining ground against the yen (+0.5% to 105.9), it is because the Japanese currency has fallen sharply for the second consecutive session, while the Tokyo stock market is setting a record high, due to stronger growth than expected.
The remuneration of the Dollar does not seem to make the difference since the greenback showed values comparable to that of February 15, while the T-Bond showed only 0.91% return at the beginning of December 2020 and 0.505% on August 2, 2020
