The Banking Payments Context (BPC) extends to the DRC after having conquered Algeria, Kenya or Ethiopia. Its activities are now global with headquarters in Switzerland.

The Russian-born fintech is gaining markets in Africa. Banking Payments Context (BPC) is a group specializing in payment systems, founded in Russia in 1995 by Anatoly Loginov (62), an engineer trained in Moscow and then at Duke University in the United States, where he obtained an MBA in 2001. The group wants to double its global revenues by 2023.
In Africa, BPC began to deploy its payment offers late and rather discreetly, in the mid-2010s. But it has since progressed at pace and across the continent. “I think we came at the right time,” says Daniel Paltrinieri, head of the Spain, West and Central Africa region of BPC Banking Technologies.
“BPC is the world's leading Open System provider of electronic payment solutions for the global financial industry. The company develops and distributes SmartVista, a comprehensive suite of solutions covering all aspects of electronic payment processing.

The group offers a turnkey system, distributed as a white label, which allows the integration and interoperability of a multitude of services and payment channels, whether traditional or modern. “Thanks to our position in the banking market, we are laying the groundwork for the future penetration of our technology to market other products tomorrow,” says Jane Loginova, Commercial Director of BPC.

The deployment of these “white label” services allows users to outsource this activity to BPC to focus on their core business.
