The BCEAO announces that in November it continued to implement its measures taken since March 2020. These provisions raised the interbank market interest rate from 2.74% to 2.77%

BCEAO has taken measures to counter the harmful effects of the pandemic on economic activity. Thus, it indicates in its publication entitled monthly note of economic conditions in the UEMOA countries at the end of November 2020 that interest rates on the money market stagnated at a slightly higher level.
The one-week interest rate on the interbank market was 2.77% compared to 2.74% a month earlier, and the document states that liquidity injections at the Central Bank's auction houses have continued at the fixed rate of 2.0% since 24 June 2020.
