Côte d'Ivoire enjoys the confidence of investors present in the markets. The country raised last Monday more than 557 billion FCFA for the Eurobond 2021 out of 1836 billion FCFA of intentions.

On November 24, 2020, Côte d'Ivoire issued a new Eurobond for an amount of one billion euros at a redemption rate of 5%, with a final maturity in 2032.
This Monday again, the country was on the financial market. The yield was 4.3% for the bonds worth 600 million euros which will mature in 2032, the lowest rate ever recorded for Eurobonds from Côte d'Ivoire, and 5. 75% for 250 million euros of bonds that will mature in 2048.
This fundraising is part of the country's public debt management and the government's medium-term debt management strategy, in accordance with the recommendations of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
