The monthly economic situation of the BCEAO indicates that at the level of the Regional Securities Exchange (Brvm), the main indicators of market activity increased compared to the month of October. The Brvm 10 and Brvm composite indexes increased by 1.8% and 4.1% respectively, reaching 116.5 points and 129.0 points in November 2020.
Market capitalization also strengthened by 1.5% month-on-month, including 2.1% for equities and 1.1% for bonds. The Brvm composite and Brvm 10 indicators fell by 8.3% and 12.8% respectively. The decrease is widespread across all sectors of activity.
