This is the new jewel that Bolloré Transport & Logistics has just acquired in the airport area of Abidjan, the economic capital of Côte d'Ivoire. This Aerohub equipped with the latest generation equipment is intended to receive, store and distribute within a tri-temperature platform (frozen, positive cold, ambient temperature), goods intended for the Ivorian and sub-regional market for operators in the sector. retail, telecoms, the pharmaceutical industry and catering. It is equipped with a low energy consumption (LED) lighting system with motion detectors, a rainwater retention basin and also has electric handling equipment which will eventually be powered by panels. solar.

The inauguration of this infrastructure located within the Félix Houphouët Boigny airport and near the Port of Abidjan, was made on Wednesday September 4, 2019. Since this date, the Aerohub of Bolloré Transport & Logistics is officially the point of connection between international maritime and air logistics flows as well as end consumers.

More than 6 million euros (ie 4.5 billion CFA francs) have already been invested to launch the first phase of the project out of a total of 12 million euros planned in the long term (ie 8 billion CFA francs). Bolloré Transport & Logistics thus intends to capitalize on the success of Aerohub to maintain its leadership in logistics service offerings in West Africa.
