The Directorate of Forecasting and Economic Studies points out in its latest publication “Monthly Economic Update - Novembre2020" that Senegal's exports to the UEMOA zone amounted to 36.9 billion in November 2020 compared to 26.4 billion a month earlier, an increase of 10.5 billion (+39.9%).

The share of UEMOA in Senegal's total exports stood at 22.6% in November 2020, representing a surplus of 3.5 percentage points, in monthly variation. Also, notes this department of the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Cooperation of Senegal, the weight of Senegal's exports to Mali in the Union's total exports improved by 4.5 percentage points, standing at 68.8% in November 2020

Cement remains the main product exported to this partner country with an estimated 22.0% share compared to 26.6% in October 2020.
