For more peace of mind in their management, Onad administrators decided to train and share their experiences. (DR) The National Office for Sanitation and Drainage (Onad) wants to update itself on international standards for strategy development, management, implementation and risk monitoring. On December 29, 2020, the members of its Board of Directors participated in an upgrade seminar initiated by the Chen African Institute of Business Management (Ciage), at the Pullman hotel in Plateau. During this diploma course, which will enable auditors to have the skills necessary to meet needs and enrich their skills, the trainers reviewed the various aspects of business strategy. They taught the tools needed to do this, explained the levels of intervention of the Board of Directors and the concerns that will need to be clarified in order to control the majority of the risks that could arise in the event of change.

For Michèle Beugré, representing Ciage, it is a pleasure to contribute to entrenching good management practices in the daily lives of companies present in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA), the area of competence in Africa of her firm of expertise. According to her, the strategic business development plan, at the center of this training, represents the compass, the tool for cohesion between senior management and the boards of directors of organizations. That's why his firm values it highly. This plan, she says, must become an opportunity for all stakeholders in the company, an opportunity to learn and exchange, an opportunity to open up to the world. Because, “it is thanks to him that businesses in the UEMOA zone will be able to develop better, be prosperous, progress, modernize and open up to this constantly changing world,” she says.

Michèle Beugré also recalls that the State of Côte d'Ivoire pays particular attention to it for a stronger and more competitive administration. This is because fifteen years ago, the directors of companies in Côte d'Ivoire, she justifies, were increasingly demanding to be trained, since the development of their structures and their sustainability depended largely on the effectiveness of their committee work and their posture during consulting sessions.
