Faced with numerous questions, yesterday, from parliamentarians on the quality and high prices of Sonatel's telephone and Internet, the Minister of Digital Economy and Telecommunications, Yankhoba Diattara, spoke out.

The Minister, who was at the National Assembly to defend the vote on the draft budget of his department, reminded the telephone operators to respect their commitments.

''Sonatel must respect its commitments and its obligations towards the Senegalese population. It is the Artp who must ensure that this is respected. We will work together to make affordability, quality and cost affordable. This is also valid for all other operators,'' he said.
