A view of the school kits to be used to promote healthy emulation. (Dr) The regional delegation of the cocoa coffee council for Tonkpi and Bafing proceeded on November 26, to the delivery of 520 kits and 120 school uniforms to the best schoolchildren of the 13 sub-prefectures of Bafing. It was at the regional directorate for national education, technical education and vocational training.

According to Doumbia Siaka, regional delegate of the cocoa coffee council, this delivery of school kits is part of the dynamics of excellence that its structure advocates in the production areas. “This year, we have decided to associate our operators who are the buyers and the cooperative societies of our two regions.

In Bafing, one school from each of 13 sub-prefectures was identified and proposed by the best cooperative society in the district. And it is the first six of classes per level who benefit from complete school kits to encourage and motivate them to take the path of excellence,” he explained.

It is a total of 40 kits that the cocoa coffee council offered to the said management for each beneficiary establishment to give them to the beneficiaries through the inspectors of primary and preschool education.

The aim is to enable producers' children to benefit from school kits while promoting excellence in the school environment. As for school uniforms, they are given to the best male and female students. that is to say, the first 3 best male students and the first 3 best young female students from the best school in each of the three Bafing departments.

This initiative of the cocoa coffee council is welcomed by the regional director of national education, Doumbia Youssouf. “Giving Kits, giving outfits, it's really very good. Especially since it is the best that we have selected, ”he said. For him, this gesture will create a healthy emulation within the schools and raise the level of study of the children.
