PARIS, June 22 (Reuters) - The main European stock markets are moving in
dispersed order and on weak variations Monday in the morning after
beginnings in the red, torn between fears of a resurgence of
the coronavirus epidemic and the prospect of a positive opening on Wall

The
World Health Organization (WHO) has reported a record rise in
number of cases of coronavirus contamination in the world during the day
of Sunday, with 183,020 new infections in 24 hours.
The largest increase is in North and South America where
Brazil, in particular, now lists more than 50,000 dead. The
French Guiana could for its part be subject to a "reconfinement" in
due to the still active circulation of the virus.
“Could an increase in new infections compel the
advanced economies to reimpose containment measures so severe and so
widespread that they would shake confidence and disrupt the recovery
nascent economy? (...) This remains the main risk to monitor for
the economic outlook as well as for the financial markets", observes
Holger Schmieding, economist at Berenberg.
Despite these fears, the trend in Europe is supported by the sharp rise
observed for futures on US indices. VALUES
