To this end, Mr. Ndiaye underlines that measures have been taken by the highest authorities of the Union in order to
prevent the rapid spread of this pandemic and limit its impact on the economies of States
members.
He informs that at the level of the Crepmf, taking into account the latest developments in
the evolution of the pandemic as well as the security and health measures implemented in the country
headquarters, having decided since March 16, 2020 to set up a crisis unit within the
General Secretariat of the Crepmf, responsible, among other things, for being in contact with the external services in charge
crisis management in the city of Abidjan; dissemination to measurement personnel
preventive measures and the provision of hydro-alcoholic gels, protective masks and gloves; of
the activation of the business continuity plan, in particular the sections concerning the rearrangement of working hours
staff work and then telecommuting.
In addition, the General Secretariat of the Crepmf will communicate to all stakeholders (actors,
issuers and investors) the guidelines, directives and recommendations of the regulator with a view to strengthening
the resilience of the market in the face of this shock.
In this particular context of health crisis, Mamadou Ndiaye affirms that a rapid and effective adaptation
of our working habits and methods is necessary.
In this regard, the Regional Council has taken all the technical and logistical arrangements to ensure the
diligent processing of files submitted for its assessment, in particular visa applications for operations
raising resources on the regional financial market.
